How to Put on a Condom the Right Way

Believe it or not, some men do not know how to put on a condom correctly.  Some guys simply have little experience when it comes to sex.  Others have little experience with condoms and prefer to go natural (aka bareback).  Luckily, putting on a condom is fairly simple, at least when you're not in the throws of passion.  Digging around for that little package, tearing it open, trying to fish it out, and slip it on all in the dark, can be quite an awkward experience, especially if it's the man's first sexual encounter with her.  But, of course, s they say "practice makes perfect."

What you need is an erect penis or something similar, like a banana or anything else that is long and is hard enough to keep from bending. Take one condom out of the pack and open the foil carefully by tearing away one side. The most important thing is to make sure you don't damage the condom while trying to get it out.  If you manage to damage the condom in any way, get another from the pack.  Even a tiny tear will make the condom completely useless and pointless.  So make sure you learn how to tear the foil correctly.

Next, take the condom out of the torn foil.  You'll notice that a small tip is hanging on one side of the condom.  Pinch the tip with your thumb and index finger, this squeezes out the little bit of air.  Air in a condom is something you want to avoid.  Keep your fingers on the tip and place the condom as it is on the head of your penis. This will also help you avoid putting the condom on inside out, which can be slightly less comfortable and possible damage the condom while in use.  Wearing a condom inside out may be one of the more common mistakes men make.  Use your other hand to roll the condom down the length of your penis.

Now you are ready for sex. You'll want to make sure once again, that air hasn't entered the condom.  Otherwise air pockets will form and possibly cause the condom to break during sex.  While you're engaged sexually, keep in mind that the condom may slip off especially if it contains extra lubrication.  Today’s condoms come in a wide variety, and if you're a small to average sized man you basically have one choice in size.  Bigger thicker men can choose between the large and extra larger versions that are available.  Measure your length and girth, and  do some research online before going to the store.  Make sure you're getting the right fit.

In the final moments of your sexual encounter, you need to choose one of two places to ejaculate.  The safest thing to do is pull your penis out prior to ejaculating and finish inside the condom.  However, some men prefer ejaculating in the condom while still inside the woman.  If you choose to do this, after you ejaculate and before you pull out pinch the base of the condom and slowly pull out.  While there is no guarantee, this will at least help from the condom from completely slipping off.  To remove the condom simply pinch the tip and pull it off your penis.  Wrap it in a tissue and thrown it in the garbage, NOT the toilet (a definite rookie mistake).
